Salon FAQ – Hair, Nails, Booking Policies & Guest Experience

Answers to common questions about hair services, nail care, booking policies, cancellations, and what to expect at our Palm Harbor salon.

Your first visit begins with a thoughtful consultation where we discuss your goals, hair or nail history, and maintenance comfort. From there, your provider will recommend services designed to deliver beautiful results while respecting your time and hair health.


A deposit is required for all new clients at the time of booking to reserve your appointment time. The deposit is applied toward your scheduled service and ensures that your time is protected and are non-refundable if the cancellation policy is not met. Appointments are not confirmed without a deposit on file. 


Absolutely. Your stylist will review the recommended service plan and investment during the consultation so there are no surprises.


We require at least 24 hours’ notice for any cancellation or reschedule.
Cancellations made within 24 hours, same-day cancellations, or no-shows are subject to a 50% charge of the scheduled service total. This balance must be paid before booking a future appointment.


We offer a 10-minute grace period for late arrivals. After 10 minutes, we reserve the right to reschedule if there is not enough time remaining to provide the full service experience.
If we are unable to perform your service due to lateness, the appointment will be treated as a late cancellation and subject to the 50% service charge.


Yes, we are welcoming new clients. Availability may vary by service and stylist or nail technician, so we recommend booking in advance.

Yes. Many of our color services are intentionally designed to reduce harsh regrowth and allow for longer time between visits, including seamless blending and transition plans for guests growing out their natural gray.


Our initial pricing is level-based by service provider experience. Additional time or product costs and needs are discussed during your consultation before services begin.


Yes. Our Curl Corner is dedicated to wavy, curly, and coily hair using dry cutting techniques and curl-focused care.


Yes. Curl education is included so you can confidently style and maintain your curls between visits.


No. Our smoothing treatments are designed to reduce frizz and improve manageability without permanently straightening the hair.


They’re ideal for guests looking to soften texture, enhance shine, and make styling easier.


Yes. Blowouts are customized for your hair type, texture, and desired finish.


Absolutely. Blowouts and styling services may be booked on their own. Join our Blow Dry Society Monthly Membership program!


A dry gel manicure focuses on the prep tools, allowing for more precise cuticle work, better gel adhesion, and longer-lasting results.


Most guests enjoy 2–4 weeks of wear with proper care depending on the type of service.

In many cases, yes. Guests often enjoy having hair color processed while nail services are being performed, creating a more efficient and relaxed experience.


For Nail & Pedicure Services:
Please wear footwear that allows toes to remain uncovered afterward, such as sandals or flip-flops.


For Hair Services:
Avoid hoodies, high collars, or bulky necklines, as they can interfere with color placement and finishing. While we take every precaution to protect your clothing, we cannot guarantee that color or lightener will not come into contact with garments. Please dress accordingly.


For Curly Cut Appointments:
Arrive with your hair worn naturally and down. Avoid ponytails, tight clips, or styles that stretch the curl pattern. Use minimal product so your natural texture is fully visible.


Please notify us within 7 days of your appointment if you have any concerns. Adjustments are offered at the discretion of management and must fall within the original service scope.


To maintain a calm and elevated environment, we ask that only guests receiving services attend appointments unless prior arrangements are made.


Before you leave, your provider will review aftercare recommendations and discuss maintenance timing so you feel confident caring for your hair or nails at home.


Yes. We believe pre-booking future appointments is key to long-lasting results, and we’re happy to recommend an ideal maintenance schedule based on your services.
